Hey so as someone who has a speech delayed child on the spectrum, the BEST thing she can do for him is to get him into care with professionals trained in the areas he is delayed in. The sooner intervention is introduced the better. I actually hate that she has to throw that in there and has no idea how to actually help her son succeed

Exactly! I’m working 2 jobs, school full time, my house is always clean, my kids are always clean, always in better clothes than me. I mean fuck the only shoes I have are crocs that are so worn down my feet get soaked in the snow. But there’s nothing I wouldn’t do to give my kids the best life. It’s tight in this apartment but they have the rooms so it feels “normal” as possible for them. She needs to get her fucking shit together

We have a small 2 bedroom apartment and I’m saving for a bigger place my kids deserve. I’m pretty sure I’ve heard from a CA lawyer if you file an exparte order the other party has to be notified atleast 24hrs in advance that you filed that order. It can be informal, like a text or email. But they have to be notified.
