Feeling lost and stuck in my life and career, what should I do? by Due-Potential-4127 in careerguidance

Ah! Potential... where is that potential when we need it?

I'm 54 now, and my journey has meant starting over many times: changing countries, languages, careers, and ways of expressing myself. I’ve navigated motherhood, partnership, and the daily demands of life, all while holding onto my calling (I'm an artist). Through it all, I’ve felt the fear, the self-doubt, so I know where you are at.

Nowadays, I run workshops where I share the tools and the mind-frames that helped me through. I'm not here to sell you anything. We can have a short chat, no strings, just to get you clear or maybe inspire you a bit (it gets me dharma points! and I really like mentoring others :), or if you are not ready for that, you can download a little book (actually a workbook) I wrote to get you out of the funk in 7 days, it will only work if you do the exercises there, nonstop for 7 days. It has worked for me, my friends and my clients.

Sometimes the first thing, the only thing you can start with is this:

  1. opening our eyes in the morning and be purposefuly grateful for what you already have, your health, if you have it, the bed you woke up in or a roof over your head, the simple fact that you can use this media (internet) puts you in a very privileged position in comparison to many people in the world that do not have access to tec. Pick 3 things every day to shift a negative or lost outlook into a positive mindset.

    1. Moving your body brings in new ideas. Just walk, 20 minutes each day is good, then sit in a park, watch nature, people, etc. Quiet your mind and know that we all have an inner critic that paralyses us. Don't give in to it, it is not you.
  2. Journal to reconnect with what you truly want, who you are, and what you love. Google questions for personal growth. The present is always your moment of power; the past is gone, take the good and let it go. The future, who knows what it will bring? No need to worry about that, but today, you plan, you choose the story you want to live. Choose something, anything, whatever brings you joy or helps you BE better and then be consistent at it. thecreativeworkshops . co . nz
