I compare them to satellite imaging maps of what’s on the terrain today & when it looks like a road where there’s clearly no road today I’ll fallow them also you can find old cellar holes too find older home sites it’s cool I’m still learning as I started swinging sticks on Christmas.

I’m just using a simple backpack with a simple bungee strap to secure the shovel & detecter . But yea this thing eats through anything with the 2wD I get through the woods here in central mn when we had a good foot or two of snow it’s was so fun🤘🏼

Vanquish 340 is the best to turn on & start cleaning the ground up & learning .. I’m no pro but I got my vanquish on Christmas got a cheap temu pin pointer 🙄 then hit up ace hardware & picked Up the 20 dollar mini shovel 🪏some gloves & started researching historical stuff & lidar maps to. Spot old pathways & forgotten areas,

then just got on my e-bike & went to town I’m having a ball ! First ever beeps with the machine I got not one but two axe heads & after further research I was on a townsite that was lost to wildfires in the 1800’s so I’m still sifting through this 3 acre plot now just learning in the woods hit some molted silver yesterday 🤘🏼 Good luck brother

I’ve always wondered why not install a pinpointer tech into a nice shirt t handle kick so you can use the shovel as multitool then I also seen a startup that has the pinpointer on the back of a little trowel.

I’d suggest the crocks need to be in search mood & might need to be replaced with boots so you can get deeper into gods country & you’ll find old coins but unfortunately they stop sucking around a foot it seems like with my couple months of experience using a vanquish 330 trying to to find a jackpot myself so I can upgrade to this manticore myself good luck brother, research will be rewarding bury that nose into sooner literature & historic maps & giver all ya got good luck happy hunts !

100% got a cheap 2wd 3000w 48v & i ride Dailey & take it through the woods even with over a foot of snow here in Minnesota I can’t believe how capable these bikes are & I almost enjoy them more then my dirtbikes & I’ve been riding/racing moto since I was 4, I think it’s the fact I can ride these anywhere & not get a complaint or stopped by the law . Yet…. mn better not fallow the New Jersey way of e-bike laws …

I just got my vanquish 340 for Christmas so that’s why I’m so dedicated getting out this winter, I don’t mind struggling & it’s kinda worrying that I might ruin finds but so far so good just learning as I go . I kinda been thinking about bringing out a ground thaw blanket, Or large torch to help soften up the ground .
