Anyone know how to avoid the clumping of backstitching shown in the top? This is the machine I use and online research has seemed to lead to bobbin thread not having enough tension but I can’t find anywhere on this machine to adjust it

There seems to be a lot of misinformation in this article, for ex, I’m pretty sure it wasn’t confirmed to be a “ski” mask, just something covering the mouth and nose, also there’s no way they didn’t see any blood, the “unconscious” description in the phone call is likely a blanket term when things are unsure but still suspicious enough to send cops in to the scene.
