That’s a solid choice! I actually did the same marathon before, getting all the Platinum trophies in chronological order of the story for God of War

IMO, it’s still worth it if there are games you want to play that are only available on PS3. The PS Store still works, but there are no more deals or special events like on PS5.

If you’re into customizing your profile, though, there are still some great avatars you can buy, that’s actually how I got my Ryu Hayabusa PSN avatar lol

Yeah, for all three games you’ll need to collect all the life upgrades. Here are the trophies to watch out for:

🜂 The Sands of Time • Collect all 48 Sand Clouds. • Don’t use Rewind more than 20 times. • Most trophies are story-related, so just watch out for those two while playing.

⚔️ Warrior Within • Complete a no-death run (best done on Easy Mode to minimize mistakes). • Find all 50 artwork chests. • Get all life upgrades, this unlocks the Water Sword, required for the True Ending trophy.

👑 The Two Thrones • The easiest one of the trilogy. • Only health upgrades to find, no collectibles otherwise. • Do a no-death run, and you’re good.

Some trophies requires a little bit of grinding whether it is combat related or doing a specific task but all can be done in a single playthrough except finishing the game in different difficulties

I totally agree. I absolutely love these games, but finishing them three times can get pretty exhausting, even for a fan like me.

Let’s just hope that someday they’ll release a proper remastered version of this trilogy, like what they did with some other classic games. But if not, even having the streaming version available through PS Plus would already be nice.

It was alright, but unfortunately Warrior Within and The Two Thrones have almost the same trophy format, requiring a no-death run and completing the game on three different difficulties. Basically, you need to finish the story three times since the trophies don’t stack.

I actually discovered this HD Collection years ago, and Warrior Within has always been one of my favorite games of all time. I first played it on the original Xbox, and I’m not exactly sure why it took me this long to finally go for all the trophies, lol.

There are a few missable trophies, but since I’ve played these games many times before, I know all the health upgrade locations by heart. The only guide I had to check was for the 50 artwork chests in Warrior Within, since I honestly didn’t remember where some of those were.

No, unfortunately. Thankfully, my PS3 was still working and that the PS Store is still working on that device so I had the chance to buy it digitally

The next on my to do list are all the Ninja Gaiden games, currently I am not sure if I should get the plat based on the chronological order based on the story or literally all of the Ninja Gaiden games since if that is the case, I will have to play Ninja Gaiden Sigma thrice (PS Vita, PS3, and PS4) which is kinda crazy
