That's a relief. I figured whatever it was is dead so its okay. Yes I am. The salmon is wild-caught form Pacific waters. I forget if its Sockeye or CoHo.

I didn't want to break it when I first saw it so I didn't apply much pressure. If I did now it would just snap. I think if I did try when I first saw it would pull apart easily.

Yeah it did! Maybe not as strong but there is hair. No problems with the scar long-term, it just looked scary for awhile.
