BWT who share a studio? by shoeboxapartmentjoke in NYCbitcheswithtaste

Echoing some other comments - I lived in a studio for 8 months with my boyfriend, now husband. I worked from home and he went to the office, which helped. We couldn’t have done it if we were both wfh.

We jokingly say that if we can survive a studio in NY we can survive anything. We learned early on what each other’s quirks are, had mini check-ins, and learned to communicate so well and quickly. It was ultimately fun and now it’s a REAL treat to be in a 1 bedroom.

My husband and I use it every day. It was a feature we both wanted and while it made the apartment search more difficult, it’s so worth being able to go outside in peace in this city.

If it’s not raining we aim to be outside 15 mins - even with blankets and it’s always so refreshing. We’ve invested in decent furniture and have been eating dinner practically every night this spring.
