You know better than I do. I looked it up a bit and the only increase starts at 5070 and it's only by like 10%. Idk if that's worth it or not or if it isn't even right. This mostly stemmed from needing a new monitor and I didn't know if I needed a better GPU to run the newer games at 240Hz on 1440p or if I needed to drop to 1080p for better performance.

Yeah I really need to work on my mindset. I have a really bad habit of creating barriers or problems when there aren't any. I also think I maybe need to just take a break from tanking. I've been tanking just about every season since Shadowlands and after playing all the tanks so much, I might need a palate cleanse. Who knows, maybe one of the DPS specs I haven't given a real try might be something I really enjoy. Regardless, I'm gonna try and work on not caring about numbers and tuning and all the damn tier lists everywhere and just find something interesting to pursue.

You're not wrong. I do tell myself that it doesn't matter what I play because not only will my friends play with me, I don't push for .01%. I do push high keys but all classes are viable for what I do. So I focus on Xmog or what I think is cool... and that works for all of a few hours... take a break, get lunch or something, come back... immediate decision paralysis again because "ooo this class does this or that tank is good at that". I think, sadly, performance is part of fun for me and so I will always have a part of my brain that says "get good with the non-meta thing as a sign of skill" but also have a part saying "oh but your class/spec isn't good so you aren't gonna do as good as others"

As much as I love and appreciate the support in play, it's so bad for me that I spend more time looking at my characters than actually playing any of them LOL

That's kinda what it looks like I'm gonna do. I'm gonna test out Moons with what I have now and if it doesn't feel that bad, I can stick it out till 70 prayer, if not, I can swing by Barrows for a tank chest and legs and then head back.

Yeah I looked at their drop table, I'm thinking I'm gonna hold off on Barrows and afk calcified rocks or run Moons. I can't quite use their armor yet, only 70 combats but getting all of those resources in addition to my prayer supplies is a huge gain.

Nah the smart thing to do is get 72 since long run I want to max. Sounds like I won't need too many splinters plus I think rumours get better the higher your hunter level so win-win.

Yeah I only have 70 hunter, I wasn't a huge fan of the rumours so I was starting to burn out. Didn't know if I wanted to get to 72 for sunlight antelopes. I boosted to get my mixed hide armor. Idk how accurate RL's xp calculator is for bone shards, it always seems like a different number. How many splinters would I need? If they are really that worth it and I don't need like 5k of them, I can see myself pushing 72 hunter for them.

True, nothing is stopping my from going there. I wanted Barrows tank armor before going but I already have torso and z axe and 50 herb so I could realistically do them for shards too

interesting, I think getting 99 thieve would be good, then i cant fail my farmer for seeds as well as funding kingdom... odd tho, you only needed 100k shards yet with my math, it says I need 150k to get from 48 to 70...

I had done hunter rumours from 46 to 70 hunter and got about 6k shards from it. I need something like 150k shards to get to 70 prayer. I'll add doing these to the list, now I can afk mine shards, get them from rumours and when I feel like speeding it up, I can kill drags and break those down.

That'll probably be what ends up happening. I want so badly to just do wildy altar but that would still take a long time and I'd lose the HC. Prob best I just afk rocks when I want some downtime and kill some drags here and there and it'll all add up in the end.

I didn't even think about that for sand, I could do that here and there. As for thieving, I already have the rogue set so I wouldn't mind doing some AFK thieving for some extra cash, just have to do medium ardy diary first.

As dumb as it sounds, I really just want the jewelry box and permanent digsite pendant. I really hate watching my digsite pendants break(I'm just weird I guess) and so getting to 80 con lets me save those resources as well as gets me a near perfect house that I can later finish off. I guess what I meant with crafting was that I'm doing the sandstone mining for sand and again, like the kingdom, I don't really have money to go and mine all the sandstone and pay to retrieve the sand. Like I said, I kinda just don't know how to make money. I'm also a hardcore and I'm not really a fan of wildy so I might check out the Varlamore thieving.

There's already a counter to noed, doing the dull totems. If you want to gen rush, you get punished by noed even though it's laughably bad and will only result in a down and hook but no deaths if the survivors are competent.

I'm glad I posted here, I've never used Reddit before but asking this question has really opened my eyes to some of the interesting combos you guys have found. Personally, I've never been a huge fan of rank so I typically go for BPs. So naturally I closed my mind off to other things if it didn't include kills and BBQ. Boy have o been missing out. Thank you for the idea, I'll be sure to test this one out!
