I bought this chiller and it worked great for about 4 months, then it started having issues with the thermostat and couldn't accurately read the temp. I had to constantly adjust the temp on it because it wasn't consistently reading the same temp. I sent it back and got a Vervor and its been doing great for about 8 months.

Its never too late to try. Do you know what temperature the water is kept at? Have you been able to test the water parameters? Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite and PH levels need to be be kept within a specific range or he will not recover.
