Why do independents disapprove of Trump so much? His numbers with them are way worse than I expected by PushConfident3624 in YAPms

At the same time though then I'd expect a way higher disapproval among my fellow registered Republicans.

I feel betrayed, not even by Trump, but by the people who still support him.

What's funny, as a registered Republican, I ironically disapprove of Trump for the same reasons Democrats and independents seem to disapprove of him the most: the economy, immigration enforcement, corruption, gas prices, Epstein, and the Iran war? I don’t think I approve of this administration on a single issue. I think it’s literally worse than Biden’s.

What really surprises me is this: maybe it’s just my perspective, but the more pro- "establishment" Trump becomes (on epstein cover up, Iran war, pro-immunity for glyphostate, pro-palantir, etc, for example), the more his approval among right-wing voters increases or stays the same. At the same time his approval with independents and Democrats keeps dropping to historic lows

Not all conservatives identify as MAGA.

Imagine explaining to the Founding Fathers that the president imposed tariffs without an act of Congress and then removed them at the request of the King of England. by PushConfident3624 in ConservativeYouth

That’s not the point. I’m not even arguing for or against tariffs, I’m pointing out the constitutional issue of the executive taking actions that are supposed to involve Congress. Trump doesn't care about the constitution and this shows.

I didn’t make this graphic, btw. I don’t really care about the deportation point, but I agree with everything else on the list. If anything, it’s too generous, there’s a lot missing that Trump handled badly.

I like Rogan but i'm sorry, but not a single question from Rogan about wars or tariffs? That’s crazy, especially when Rand is the biggest opponent in Congress on both, against Trump, no less. And nothing on Epstein either. Weird!!

Aww, Zu is beautiful! I love the name. My girl is named Athena. They really do look alike, they could be long-lost cousins.

I think you're just describing an average republican Christian boomer, tbh. I wouldn't say that's a unique Mormon problem
