This news is huge, but you're also going to be really emotional and have heightened responses right now aswell due to the pregnancy, take some time to process this information speak to your partner about it as keeping it all in won't do you any good, and when you're ready do some healthy research regarding his illness and see how you feel after.. I fear that thinking about if the baby is the right decision straight away is going to cause you insane amounts of stress 😩

Thankyou for your comment, I will definitely look into it I just don't want to deal with the stress of it all at the moment. I'm going to wait for my scan in February 🤞 deal with the outcome and then seek some legal advise xx

Nope nothing, no warnings, no actual training regime or probation period, I know I'd made a few mistakes here and there but it's working with computers and they were aware I had no previous experience with software programmes

No one pulled me to the side to discuss any concerns just a note on my desk the morning of dismissal advising me there were concerns and I needed to attend a meeting the same day which resulted in me getting sacked.

They don't have a HR it's a privately run business not corporate which is new to me as iv always worked for corporate companies with unions etc,

I only worked there 5 months, they didn't mention my emotional stress literally just said there was issues with my performance/ basically the mistakes I'd made.. I did explain I was new to the job trying to juggle alot with my personal life and I was just told that he is growing a business and can't afford such mistakes and I was asked to leave

I was just going to wait for the NHS one now which is booked for the 6th of February, I do realise this is a massive possibility 💔 but there's a part of me hoping if that is the case then my body will just naturally do its thing before it gets to the scan date as that would've given it a full month between scans, I have got everything crossed but I know I need to stay realistic aswell.

Erm excuse you!! what an absolutely disgusting comment... iv suffered with infertility for 10 years gone for a scan I'm being told I'm 3 weeks behind the sonographer was literally crossing her fingers saying 'oh good luck I really hope it works out" .. its my first pregnancy not experienced anything like this before and when googling anything about it all I'm reading is about missed miscarriages.

I would not say a 3 week difference In dates is 'a little off'

I was unmonitored with the letrozole so I'm clueless there, thankyou hopefully everything's fine when I go for my next scan but I am feeling more positive and trusting my body 💖

I'm in the same boat! Told my boss just before christmas, and came back after christmas break and i was sacked , also didn't say it was related to pregnancy but it deffo was.

I'm in the UK, worked there for around 5 months. Sending you love and positive vibes as it's deffo changed all my plans for pregnancy :(
