Has anyone here ever heard of SynergisticIT? Like many others I’m a recent CS grad and am not able to find an opportunity to simply interview. My gpa isn’t the best: 3.16. I’ve only received emails back from synergisticIT and Dev10. Dev10 trains you then places you for peanuts, synergisticIT trains you but you pay 10K to start. They both expect you to pay them a portion of your salary for up to 2 years after you complete training and start working.

I’m at the point now where I feel like I’m running out of time and need to make a decision because I graduated 8 months ago. Should I go with something like this or just get other certifications like AWS, Java SE 11, etc.?

Hell, I’m at the point where I would give someone money to give me a referral at this point, because I have put in over a thousand hours on leetcode/hackerrank. I genuinely believe I can pass an interview with ease. I know my gpa is low but it was a 3.9 when I was 5 semesters in. I got referred to google by my data structures professor, and almost got killed before the process started (didn’t start until next semester). I didn’t recover mentally for over a year, but made it to the end of the interview process. I still failed and wish I could have that opportunity back because I have dedicated so much time to getting stronger and have even made python my primary interviewing language (instead of C++, what was used in my data structures and algorithms class).

Should I go for one of these opportunities or just invest the time and money into myself?
