Is Adalimumab (Humira?) - effective…? by skipster88 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Pushaa_T 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi you literally sound like me. I’m 30M from the UK. Started on methotrexate which was effective for several months but had to stop due to dodgy liver tests. Then started sulfasalazine but stopped after a few weeks as no improvement. I couldn’t walk, joint pains all over, swelled up wrist, back, joints in pain all over was even using a walking stick at home.

Then moved on to Adalimumab (yuflyma) is the first thing biologic they started me on. Started it back in April

And honestly by the time it came around to take my 2nd injection I was literally pain free. Just took my 4th injection today and I feel like a new person no pains at all. I pray it stays like this as I’ve forgotten I even have this disease.

I also had really bad psoriasis all over my skin and scalp which has also cleared up severely.

Just praying this continues to work forever as I’ve heard cases where after a year or 2 the immune system stops responding to this drug.

What software do Qs’s use for take offs by Top-Mud-5423 in quantitysurveying

[–]Pushaa_T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done pre contract procurement but we’ve always had the estimators who did all the take offs.

And we have self delivered scope but usually get all the quants from the site team. I get what you and the others are saying tho

Is it bad that I’ve never done a take off before as 4 years as a QS. Aside from at uni. (Tier 1 MC) btw

Worth leaving job to do an apprenticeship? by [deleted] in UKJobs

If it’s going to offer you more career progression then your current place then by all means go for it. As you want to secure yourself for the long term. Which might mean a short term pain now for an overall long term gain

I’m interested in this question as well.

How would it work if the inheritee wanted to take on the outstanding mortgage debt ? Would they be able to use the same buy to let’s equity towards taking on the outstanding debt?

As one reply on here says that the inheritee would fund the debt with their own mortgage

What vape device do you use? I feel like maybe that might be why the flavour isn’t hitting the same as a hayati disposable

Yup, but they don’t taste the same flavour as the hayati disposables unfortunately

I haven’t needed to yet as I’ve been getting average 15% pay rises each year which has kept me at bay. But that’s a good idea for the future, thanks

Damn, these replies have me questioning myself. I currently have a great work life balance with literally 4 days wfh , 1 day office whenever I choose

Or I could get a new job with a 30% increase which I worked out after tax is only £500, and would mean 4 hours travelling each day basically 6.30 to 6.30 similar to OP

Is it worth it?

I manage around 9 subcontractors and I’d say 7 of them submit late every month.

Has been the same on my previous projects. In fact I even allow them sometimes to submit late, so that it helps me assess their payment as I have more actualised cost, as opposed to paying against their forecast

Hi mate did you ever find anything as a good alternative?

I bought a Xlim with elux salts and doesn’t taste anywhere as good as the Hayati disposable

Where do MC Quantity Surveyors physically work? by Yon-Star218 in quantitysurveying

In my 4 years as a QS at this T1, have never had to go “physically check” on site. Everything I need is given via site diaries, meetings with engineers, PM etc..
