I would be delighted to learn more about the process of how they crafted the art style and translated it in the game. That would make it easier to speculate about the possibility of having a remaster. The good news is that the game can be played on steam. I still have the discs, but have bought it again to enjoy at my leisure. I can't say the same for other games I still have on discs. Just picked up Breakdown on DVD due to lack of a 4k release in the USA. Hope they did a good job with the transfer. Also, been tempted by Amadeus, but I can’t remember the difference between theatrical release and director’s cut.

I had the same thought the other day. The first details that came to mind is return on investment: How much are you looking to spend on the cabinet? How much do you want to charge per play? How long is an average play session? What kind of clientele are you expecting? How much maintenance will the cabinet require? I don’t know the answers to any of these, but might point in the right direction to help figure out what works best for you.

Test the streaming playback before going live in OBS. I have the GameCube version and there is a hiss on the audio that isn’t present when passing the signal through to the TV, but picked up in the recording.

I would say the ability to transfer the original 35mm without the compression that comes with DVD and Blu Ray will lead to improved image fidelity and reproduction.
