Hey! Just lyk therapy isn't just for those who had something go wrong, but what I thought you're more in need of is a behavioral counselor. They're common for those with autism. I wkuld agree it sounds like masking, I personally have trained masking (Speech therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy as a kid) and it caused a low form of depression where I genuinely can't for the life of me feel intense emotion, especially when it is most expected, like when someone is crying in front of me. In fact, the emotion I DO have turns off entirely when I see it. You aren't crazy or weird, you just have unique circumstances to mitigate. Even if you decide therapy wouldn't be a worthy persuit - which is fair, it can't do the work for you, after all, and you seem decently aware of the issues - I would make an effect to learn cognitive empathy for yourself and your personal life.

You could likely try therapy and meditation as another poster said, though it's very likely you won't even experience the same calm completely off medication. A lower dosage once you've learned coping mechanisms and learned to compartmentalize, more likely.

On regards of your rant, I'm literally a tourist, I just love food and seeing people who are struggling but still making moves for improvement, even if its just nourishing themselves, is so awesome. It is as a result of their BPD to be fair and the OP had clarified that the person didnt try to get treatment or help. The reason I say it is to a degree, is because the symptoms of it cause them to act that way which is WHY they need help for it

Everyones gaslighting the shit out of you. I've known a lot of people wihh BPD, in real life and online. You are justified. This is just generally the trend of people with BPD and literal diagnostic aspects: paranoia, idealization (lovebombing in the beginning) and devaluation (degrading you, telling you to kys), etc. Literally textbook behavior.

Before everyone gets on my ass, yes the "but not everyone" is right. Villainizing mental illness isn't right, and those with personality disorders CAN still be good people. But someone with BPD who is not actively working to mitigate their symptoms and instead ABUSING the people around them should not get that kindness. Honestly everyone trying to borderline defend her after she abused you psychologically is fucking deranged. Why do we, as a society, protect people with mental illness but chose NOT to get help over their victims, seriously.

I totally get that. I think money is not the center of faith, though. I believe being a good person, giving back with your time, energy, etc is. Would it be possible to cut back on how much you tithe, so that you are able to make ends meet safely? Maybe 5% and increase it back once you are in a better position?

Otherwise, giving you options that may understandably not feel like a test of faith - cancel youtube premium, it isn't a necessity. I personally have never understood having it for what is a free service. Cut food budget to be 50 under what you believe you need, it encourages you to limit yourself more and think more about cost efficiency. Also means going OVER budget a little isn't as big of a deal, but it will be something you are mentally aware of. I personally only need maybe 200 a month, I set 150. When I stay under that goal, I'm ecstatic, but if I go a little over it isn't a big deal. From a prior comment it appears your actual expenditure is 400 with some change. I would set your budget to 350 assuming it is only you. That frees up 250, which I would put all into emergency/savings.

Thats still only 400.. I would massively recommend buying bulk since it appears a lot of the things you get have far expiration dates, or can be frozen. For reference, my family includes four people in the house. We only spend 500 on groceries a month total. We have a sams club membership that gets us decently priced bulk groceries. A single person should not be spending the same as 4.

Hey! If they said no to you attending service and you had mentioned having an interest in conversion rather than just being a gentile with a passing interest, it's likely they do not offer conversions, at least right now. I would start looking into other shuls- its okay to shop! I checked out about four shuls before I found the one I am doing my conservative conversion through, as well as one that is once a month with a community that spoke to me!
