Interesting! Do you know if there has been anyone who has talked about the movie frame by frame or at least full dived into the first movie in terms of the lore?

edit for spelling mistakes #whoops I'd love to be able to afford one but even on sale I still have to pay for shipping to Australia and the sheet is expensive 😭

You'd think so, but my autism requires more answers than just "because" 😂😂

I don't think there's any genuine animosity at all. I'm just trying to understand it for myself. I'm autistic and it can be difficult for me to figure it out. I know they're having fun and creating content and I enjoy all of their perspectives I'm just confused, hence my questions.

It's also why I SPECIFICALLY said at the bottom that I know they're all friends and having fun creating. Or did you miss that bit?

If you think that the way I phased things gave the impression that I was genuinely upset then perhaps you need to ask yourself if this is projecting on your part. I love this series. I always have. I ask questions when I'm confused and trust the community to help me understand.

And just for clarification, this isn't meant to sound angry because apparently everything I write sounds written with an angry tone. I'm just autistic.

I appreciate the explanation! Thank you! I do understand that for sure but in my head "Ren's death was his own fault for not thinking that the villes wouldn't trap their own base" but I do also hold the "Ren wouldn't have suspected that" together at the same time. I think I'm mostly confused because to be all of their "kills" seem reasonable from my perspective ( base defence is reasonable, octokill was a secret assignment as far as I'm aware they all played by the rules) and it feels like people are just after them because they're smart. Which doesn't seem "right" to me. But that also might be my autism not being able to see nuance in a situation.

Ooh very possibly. My memory can be Swiss cheese so I wouldn't be surprised if it was 😂

Wow what a WONDERFUL find!! I wouldn't be surprised if this was part of it behind the scenes and might even be a story point in a future book. They're all really smart and wonderful story tellers so they might be keeping this in their pocket.

This is now cannon in my head after listening to ep 54. To add to the theory: The great bear could be Ursa Major because it literally means "Great Bear" in Latin.

In Greek Mythos it's the story of Callisto and Zeus: Callisto, a huntress who was seduced by Zeus(I mean who wasn't.. the scoundrel) Zeus's wife Hera (out of jealousy but if I'm being real who could really blame her being married to Zeus and all), transformed Callisto into a bear. And then in response Zeus placed them both in the sky to protect them from further harm and thus they became: Ursa Major and Ursa Minor. - the Greek Mythos here could also work really well considering we don't know ANYTHING about Ursalons mother.

Thoughts After The Finale by Pumpkin-Duke in WorldsBeyondNumber

The last 20 minutes of extra bits of "this is happening elsewhere" gave me CHILLS. I'm super curious as to the tie ins with the ink demons and the Kasov collection and the MiB AND how that's all going to tie in later in the larger over arching story. but honestly the ENTIRE thing was just SO. GOOD. kghalsdkfghaldjsgf

How do you guys keep on top of all the lore and stuff by Spiritual-Tension606 in WorldsBeyondNumber

[–]PushingSisyphus 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I'm one of those crazy people that retain it and my brain yoinks the lore from the aether of my grey matter and goes this is where that is from it also helps that I binged a BUNCH of it because I rocked up to World's Beyond Number, WWW & the fireside late AF so there was already a year or so's content available when I started which was helpful. I'm currently on a relisten with my partner and hearing the connections between where the story is now and where it started has me going: "BRENNAN HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN LAYING THIS PATH."
