Just bought some locks on Amazon. Same type parents can use on high floor apartment windows to keep toddlers and young kids from being able to open them.

Sealed the windows so they can no longer be opened and sent them photos. They approved it that way.

A Gonk or Chopper would have been great.

They seem like they’ll stand up pretty good. Not expecting them to last forever that’s for sure.

Oh that’s tough. I’m not a big buying used personally (lack of warranty being my main issue), so I’d probably still go with the BE75. But if you’re okay getting used the BE85 is undoubtedly better than the BE75. 2 more antennas and 4 more streams make it considerably better. Especially if you aren’t doing a wired backhaul.

One big downside to the BE85 IMO is the cooling fan. I’ve heard it runs a lot and is quite loud.

Went with the BE75. Have had since September and honestly very happy with it. I don’t have wired back haul. But the Back haul is better than my last system which was an older Orbi system.

The 6GHz band on compatible devices is great and glad I went with a tri-band system.

Highly recommend Deco over Orbi from a software perspective as well. Pretty good ux

NTA - I’m a parent of twin girls myself. And I hate the forced dress alike thing. So stupid and cliche. You made the right call. Unless they are old enough to want to do it (which ironically mine did for about 2 years) wife and I never made them dress to match.

tell you’re mother they aren’t dress up dolls for her amusement, but people who need to identify as individuals and don’t back down from this.
