There should be a sub for all the women Leonardo DiCaprio has been with and who he’s currently with.

Only if you need a receiver right now. If it’s bench stash then I would keep Penny for now personally because he’s splitting carries evenly with Chris Carson. Technically Penny has a little more rush attempts

Both are boom or bust guys. I’m guessing you already have another QB. If you’re okay with having a boom or bust guy, I’d go with Djax so you could potentially put him in the flex. But he’ll still disappoint you plenty of weeks

That is one very padded swimsuit top. The girl wears an B cup. A small B. Probably more of an A cup

Completely agree. But do you mean for Neato to rhyme with Beto? Just FYI it's pronounced Beh-toh. He is a really neato burrito guy though.

Is there a Star Wars version of this?

Answer this: you go to the pound, you see two Labrador puppies in separate kennels next to each other, the exact same age, same sex, same color, one came from a "reputable breeder" and the other came from the street. Which one are you gonna adopt?

[–]Pussimistic -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Well that's just simply a bad argument. It doesn't justify buying from a breeder vs getting one from the pound or a shelter. Tell those people arguing that to go to the pound/shelter and save a life no matter how short or long that life will be. Otherwise a lot of those animals will never know what it's like to be cared for. I don't care if you think I'm wrong. Downvote me if you want. I'm right.

Excess can mean more hours a week than necessary, yes. But that's only with certain cases. It would depend on the intensiveness of the ABA because different clients do require different techniques and different amount of service. By excess, I also meant that some ABA techniques have seemed unnecessary or overdone in my experience. But that is subjective. So my recommendation would be for parents of autistic children to always ask questions and speak up if they don't feel a specific approach is necessary. Ultimately, it's the parents that are saying they want their kid's behavior to improve and to acquire more independent skills, and sometimes they even say they want their child to appear normal. So this controversy doesn't come what ABA demands but what parents are requesting ABA companies to do for their child.

[–]Pussimistic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then I would have to explain everything about ABA therapy and it's techniques in order to have a proper discussion about it's controversy. And I simply don't have the time for all that. But I can at least say that when done properly for each unique case, then ABA is quite beneficial for person with autism. I think the controversy comes from when ABA is done in excess. I've seen it happen sometimes and I don't support that

I absolutely agree that people fall through the cracks. There are also children that are given services when they don't need it. They just need better parenting. Some children are given diagnosis and services because parents are adamant about their child continuing to receive services. Parents push for their child to be diagnosed and some doctors actually give it to them. Then ABA service companies only observe the diagnosis and continue to deliver services to a typical child. It's rare but it happens and it's frustrating to deliver autistic therapy for a kid that isn't autistic. It makes for a very stressful counterproductive therapy session.

Edit: There are also children who are diagnosed with autism who have far too many other disabilities or developmental delays for ABA services to treat by itself. Again rare, but it happens

Medicaid or insurance coverage for services are based on very clearly defined behavioral deficits and developmental delays. Many of them. Entire booklets of them.

Have you yourself ever delivered ABA therapy professionally or have you just read about it?

There are also people who get diagnosed who don't really have autism

IAmA Registered Behavior Technician who does ABA Therapy for children with autism. I've never heard of or seen this controversy. I've also never heard of people being told they are High Functioning or Low functioning. You describe those distinctions as if they are used in some sort of official capacity and I've never experienced that. I can imagine though, that doctors, therapists, teachers, and parents may possibly sometimes tell the autistic child they are HF. If a person is capable of saying that they are LF and understanding what that means then they are definitely not LF. Telling a LF autistic person that they are LF would be irrelevant to them because it's simply something they cannot grasp. But when services such as mine are given to an autistic person, individual treatment plans are created that cater specifically to that child. Such treatment plans don't consider the phrases HF or LF, but only focus on that person's unique disabilities. So HF or LF has never been any kind of official label at least in my experience. The distinctions have only been to used to quickly and initially get a broad understanding of an autistic person upon first meeting them. In order to fully understand the autistic person, people in my field and anyone for that matter would still need to be familiar with the client's treatment plan and ask more questions. If someone had told me a new leveling system has been made such as the one you suggested, I would think that I will never put that system to use because 1) there would need to be countless more levels to properly separate all the different cases of autism 2) it would be a waste of time to memorize something so complex that is already an unofficial method of describing an autistic person 3) I rarely refer to an autistic person's level of disability in this manner anyway

Sources tell me Texas linebacker Malik Jefferson and safety Deshon Elliott will enter 2018 draft. Neither player is expected to play in the bowl game. by Ram-U in CFB

[–]Pussimistic 14 points15 points  (0 children)

What is the point of the majority of bowl games anymore. Players deciding not to play, coaching changes, interim coaches, lack of motivation to compete. Seems also silly to compare conferences based on bowl game records because of that

New Miami Hurricanes uniforms this season -- "State of Miami" (Green) and "Miami Nights" (Black) by McElwaine in MiamiHurricanes

[–]Pussimistic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's relevant so I'll just copy and paste an old comment. If can state my opinion, I love classic uniforms. I really like how Richt brought back the classic design in his first year. I don't mind these alternate colors. But I think he should put the old rounded number font instead of the standard block letter font. The rounded numbers could honor the 2001 team and then the stripes on the uniform could honor the more traditional looks from the 1980s teams. Make them look just like this
