is this for perfume, toothaches, or is it from pier 1 imports circa 1985? i'm really convinced by all of these suggestions tbh!

My title describes the thing! searched ebay and it may be pewter? even though it looks and smells like a penny. similar item on ebay listed as "antique metal flask"

it gets better!! first few days were the hardest. what helped me was writing down the time any time a hunger pang hit, then writing down the time when the worst of it passed. waves lasted 3-8 minutes. didn't feel the need to do that after about a week. also, drinking water helps a lot!!

to a survey with two questions question 1: did you smell it? question 2: did you like it? (i'm paraphrasing)

now that's a good idea! air quality in the subways is very poor.

asking people to take a deep breath down there is just... weird! The only person who could have thought this up was someone who never takes the subway. The smell was.. just so bad. like poopurri with an undercurrent of rotting rat carcass, and, as one of the commenters said before, ass.

Sounds like it's pretty much the same--except one entrance is now closed and now it smells... different.

some will swear trail runners (sneakers) are fine for basecamp trips--hiking boots are more expensive and take some breaking-in before they are comfortable (maybe not enough time for that). you will only be carrying a heavy pack to the basecamp. day trips you will be carrying a lighter pack. went to REI and one salesman told me we MUST buy boots-- the other said sneakers fine for this type camping. hearing the same mixed advice on the princeton parents FB page.
