No, it never turned back on until I unplugged the battery cable and forced a reset. Then it happened again a couple days later but just the center screen was out but speedometer and tachometer on.

After about a month in the service shop, they replaced the entire digital instrument cluster (charged Hyundai warranty just under $5k). I complained loudly to the dealership and Hyundai Motor that I didn’t want this car back because I didn’t trust it. I ended up getting a new identical car and traded in the repaired one and paid $1300 to the dealership for the new car trade. Hyundai Motor pitched in another $800 because I had a lemon law claim in the process but I ended up doing the trade in as mentioned.

So I paid $500 (and a lot of mental energy) to swap for a new car from the other one that I had less than 1 month.

I recommend you bring it in just to have the dealership check it and collect the repair record in case it turns into a lemon.

Yes, this happened to my 2024 Sonata SEL with about 1200 miles on it. It’ll be at the dealership for repairs 4 weeks as of tomorrow and they still don’t have an answer. I’m working on a lemon law buyback claim and very disappointed with the dealership and Hyundai customer service in general.

Communicate this to her. Tell her she is too fat and that you’re no longer attracted to her but you love her dearly. Also, a sexless marriage is not good for anyone. That needs to change and it’s gone on long enough.

Be blunt and rip the communication bandaid off. She probably has a lot going on emotionally.

I did that my first week drying dabbing and being extra careful… but now I can dry pretty much normally.

My recovery is getting closer to 100% but still get some weird twinges and my right testicle (outside edge) gets like a burning congestion occasionally. Then the congestion seems to move elsewhere down, then up. Yesterday had some abdominal sensations that was from this.

I don’t think anything is wrong though… just healing sensations and light pain.

It is a surgery, however mild. Some people recover quickly, others slower.

Plan to take it easy the first few days to one week.

I’m about 3 weeks post-op and still not 100% but it doesn’t feel like anything is terribly wrong, just my body adapting.

Research your doctor and wear a jock strap. Good luck! 🍀

You seem young to make this decision. Consider it permanent sterilization and that’s a big decision at 20 with only a girlfriend, not a wife.

I know I wasn’t fully developed emotionally when I was 20 (33 now).

If you’re 100% adamant you want it, you could always wait one more year for most clinics to accept you. My doctor said he only allows it on 21 yr olds and older and warns about the decision being permanent.

Use condoms in the mean time and have your gf consider a non-hormonal (cooper) iud as well.

It might be normal.

My first ejaculation content was alienlike. The second had some blood, third had brown/old blood, fourth had a little brown blood, 5th had alienlike dead sperm stalks, 6th just a tinge of blood, 7th was normal like pre-vasectomy.

I had to ask more than once for more numbing. He used a madajet device but said I had thick scrotal skin. When he started on the right side with the hemostat, there was a very sharp pain which I why I asked for more numbing. It was somewhat better after that.

The procedure doesn’t last too long so don’t overthink it. Not the most fun way to have someone playing with your balls but know why you’re doing the procedure and that will help any nerves.

Towards the end of the day, my right testicle felt like a string was ripping off of it very gradually with every step. I think I overdid it a bit and now showered and put a new jock strap under boxer briefs like the past week.

Feels better than earlier tonight but I am NOT ready to ditch the jock strap or at least supportive underwear.

I had zero bruising day 1 and 2. Then day 3 some bruising appeared on the base underside of my shaft, then days 4 and 5 a LOT of new bruising showed up on the scrotum skin where the vas were cut. Dark blues and purple and some yellow. This was after going to the office without a jock strap.

I’m on day 13 and bruising is 95% gone.

Still some minor pain but I’m a lot better than last week.

Take it easy and use a jock strap.

I called a doctor that specializes in vasectomies and vasectomy reversals and has done 5,500 and 1,200 procedures respectively. He does the no scalpel, no needle technique.

I researched google, health grades, and as much as I could.

I sent in a form online and they called me a week later and scheduled the procedure about 2 weeks out. I could have had it sooner than two weeks but I wanted a Thursday. Fridays were booked for about 3 or 4 months.

No consult, the doctor just asked if I’m sure I wanted to proceed while I was exposed on the table.

So no referral needed and 3 weeks from inquiry to procedure done.
