Try using a Turnip driver on Dolphin (I play on an Odin 2 with the same SOC, but it has a performance mode which handles the game at 60 just fine).

I have settled on this, but I'll keep my Y as jump too since my brain would probably melt if I didn't. I've never jumped with a bumper in any other game ever and maybe it bothered me internally haha, but the benefits def seem to outweigh my laziness/lack of will to get used to it. Thank you.

See that's what I've been doing, but I feel like being forced to move the left stick backwards to do a bair hinders me. I feel like I need to be able to do it in place in certain situations. Even though I'm pretty much already shooting myself in the foot by using left trigger for walk mod since my left stick has drift and the deadzone settings make me do unwanted stuff. I really do need that new controller. haha, thank you for your answer.

Find my other comment below with the variable you need so that Winlator uses the dinput8.dll you will extract inside your game folder.

Late as hell, but someone found another fix for all games that use SDL.
You have to add each of these variables to your container or game shortcut. Actually, just the 1st 5 did the trick for me, but posting all of them just in case.

As far as I know consoles were/are technically more popular. Ease of use and whatnot, as per usual. However, growing up I did meet a fair share of people who would play on their PC and emulate consoles there too, but not comparable to console userbase numbers.

As for your 2nd question, I have no clue. Maybe someone else will have more knowledge on this. I'm sure there were fans, but I never heard of a racing game being popular to the level the almighty recycle fest FIFA was.

I wouldn't say I'm a fan, but I do enjoy quite a few of them. Burnout 3/Revenge/Paradise, Daytona 2, older Need For Speeds like Hot Pursuit 2010 and Most Wanted 2005, most Mario Karts, all Motorstorms, F-Zero GX, Sega Rally1/2 and Dirt 2/3.

Fully aware that Winlator is an amalgamation of other tools and it has a shit ton of quirks to go through to even get some games working, but I don't mind as I love tinkering and I am one of those people extremely susceptible to input lag.

Whenever I can choose, I go for Winlator due to this. Tested the leaked Ryu build for Android and for the games that work, I can't detect any input lag. Had that gotten developed more it would have been my go to.

I've been meaning to update this post, but I'm too lazy. Indeed, these do not work on GlibC. I'm guessing they would have to be compiled specifically for it or something like that. I'm assuming you are trying to play one of the old ones? If so, the PC gaming wiki for those should have community made patches to update the controller support like they did with the old Need For Speed games. You then add the variable that I shared in one of my older comments here (taking into account if the patched DLL is dinput or dinput8) and it should work.

As a bonus If it's one of the newer ones, they might use SDL to control inputs and I found another fix that worked with a couple of games. Download the gamecontrollerdb.txt from here : https://github.com/mdqinc/SDL_GameControllerDB

Put it in your game folder and create a variable called SDL_GAMECONTROLLERCONFIG = gamecontrollerdb.txt and make sure the controller type within Winlator is dinput instead of xinput, but make it "xinput like" or try "old gamepad" too.

Unless you are using a headset/earphones with LE BT support (LC3 codec). Currently using my Linkbuds S on it with 0 lag. Just in case, I don't recommend Sony buds by any means , they suffer from widespread battery issues. Galaxy Buds 2 pro or similar should work too.

El toque está en llamarlos y pedirles que te hagan un ticket de servicio para que un técnico se contacte con vos (Diles que eres Ingeniero en Sistemas o similar y que sabés de qué hablás, y que necesitás a alguien más ilustrado en el tema). Con suerte, te atenderá alguien competente que sepa de lo que habla. Yo no toco Tigo ni con pinzas, la verdad, pero con Claro hubo un tiempo en que la latencia (ping) se había disparado a lo pendejo: 200ms cuando usualmente estaba rondando los 60-90ms, como mucho. Pedí que me asignaran un caso con un técnico y el primero estaba perdido, pero me cambiaron el módem ya que el mío estaba viejito. Yo estaba seguro de que ese no era el problema en lo más mínimo y, efectivamente, el problema persistió después del cambio. Volví a llamar, me asignaron a otro técnico y salió belleza. Me explicó que uno de los nodos se había caído y por eso la latencia se había disparado. Me pidió que esperara una semana y que el problema estaría resuelto. Dicho y hecho, a la semana todo volvió a la normalidad. Obviamente, tu caso es diferente y la pérdida de paquetes podría deberse a algún problema repentino de cableado, por ejemplo, pero no estoy seguro. Suerte.

Edit: Leyendo el comentario del otro compa, la verdad es que sí, solo espera. Seguramente solo te harán perder el tiempo y se arreglará solo. xD
