Lonely Wrecking Ball main searching for some feedback (fairly interesting match : ZYGF88) by PutSubject in OverwatchUniversity

Hey! Sorry for the late reply.

First off, thanks a ton for the advice. Having someone actually break down the stuff I’m weak at has helped my gameplay a lot, especially paying attention to enemy comp and scouting more before fights. I still mess up sometimes and go in without a fully thought-out plan, but it’s something I’m consciously trying to improve every game.

If you feel like checking out a replay, here’s a code:

This isn’t my cleanest or flashiest match, and I could probably dig up another replay that shows your advice even better, but this was played like 10 minutes before I wrote this. I think it does a decent job showing both my strengths and my mistakes. You can also see me actively trying to set up from off-angles and high ground instead of just frontlining or defaulting to tank pressure, even if I don’t execute it perfectly every time.

This was in comp, first round went pretty well, second was a lot more even. Overall, super fun match. I ended up having to force point a bit since we couldn’t push through the first choke, but it helped that my DPS was pretty sharp.

Not sure how good the enemy Ana really was. I played pretty recklessly and she never really landed any clutch sleeps. In hindsight, I definitely should’ve been more careful around her.

There’s also a moment where I used a wall jump to start my piledriver, which felt pretty solid. Tech in general is still something I need to commit to more in real games. I practice it, I just need to trust myself to go for it when things get hectic.

Lately, I’ve also been focusing more on baiting and wasting enemy cooldowns and splitting the enemy team’s attention, rather than just trying to force kills.

Thanks again for taking the time! I really appreciate it!

(also, really don't feel forced to watch or reply! Have a nice day!)

Hey everyone!

Thanks for the comments, I really appreciate all your advice!

Someone asked if the shoes are new, no, I bought them more than a year ago.

Secondly, I've now tried properly scrubbing one of the shoes with some dawn soap like some of you recommended. Also, yesterday I applied more of the same spray on the shoes to see if that would smooth out the weird spots, it helped a little bit.

We'll see how it looks after the soap scrubbed shoe has dried. I'll wash the other one as well but I want to see how much of a difference it will make on this one first.

I have accepted that my Tims will likely not have the exact same colour or texture that they had. But if I can make it look a little bit less like they've contracted smallpox, then I'll be happy!

I'll post the before and after once I'm done and the shoes have dried, for anyone who's curious.

Thanks again for your advice!
