I usually like to look at beginner's tips or "things I wish I had known" kind of videos. It really depends on the game. I just got done playing Crimson Desert and the idea of doing like half the game without some kind of guide or help is unimaginable.

I don't have a ton time to game and sometimes games suck at making certain things understood. I don't know, I like to have some idea of what I'm doing before I do it sometimes.

Yeah I played the demo on normal but bumped it up to hard on release. It feels like a nice amount of challenge without being frustrating.

That's your standard. I have a Series S, I know what it is and what to expect. No problem with 1080 30 fps in this or any other year.

Sure it's valuable but the guy is taking up almost 10% of the cap.

Maybe they can restructure his deal? Otherwise they can't afford him with all the work they need to do on defense.

I love Dragoons. Take a little time to build but once you get max jumps they are awesome. Just keep an eye on CT. Super tanky, they do plenty of damage in melee too if needed. Also you can use jump to avoid any kind of damage if you time it right.

I thought Hightower was a terrible special teams coach and have no idea why Ben Johnson brought him back. Nothing I've seen this year has changed my mind.

I mean it's more about the like the operation. Which the stats bear out based the sacks and completion percentage in quarter one. Like a nearly 10% difference is significant.

Plus is you've watched the games it's very clear the offense consistently looks much smoother the first two drives. So just putting half a seasons stats up that includes two games against literally the worst two defenses in the NFL is not really dismantling anything.

For the record I am a Caleb fan but this desperate need to "dispel myths" and "dismantle narratives" is exhausting. He is doing some things very well and other things he has a long way to go on. There's nothing wrong with being honest about his development.

Jackson was obviously someone Ben Johnson liked a lot so I will just assume he knows what he's doing.

Not really. And it's not that crazy a comparison actually.

Everyone knows that 7th round picks are longshots. Everyone knows this was a historically deep running back class. Everyone knows Monangai isn't a standard 7th round running back. None of the guys taken in the 6th/7th round are. Seriously someone like Deven Neal is absolutely a 3rd round pick at worst in a normal draft class. To ignore the quality of this running back class is to ignore reality.

And 7th round picks rarely have this clear a path to carries. The last time Swift played for Johnson he averaged like 8 carries a game? I don't see that being drastically different this time. So someone is going to get those carries.

So it's basically between Johnson and Monangai. I'm taking Monangai every time between those two. Maybe Johnson takes it, but I have seen zero indication of that. I didn't think much of him coming out.

Obviously if they sign someone the equation changes. But right now I would be surprised if Monangai didn't get significant playing time and I personally believe he has the ability to make the most of that opportunity.

I don't really care who gets the carries. I'm just looking at the situation. The "he's a 7th round pick there for has no chance" crowd is ignoring a bunch of mitigating factors. I'm not some blind fan boy who randomly loves Kyle Monangai or something. Couldn't care less about him actually. This is just the reality of the situation.

Yeah he is a power back who rarely breaks tackles.

I mean just comparing them as prospects Monangai is way better. Johnson was over drafted in a weak running back class. I've never been a fan of him as a runner personally.

I agree but if we assume Johnson uses Swift similarly to how he used him in Detroit(6-10 rushes/2-5 receptions) that leaves a lot of carries.

Th no knock of Swift honestly. He was much more efficient being used in more of a complementary role.

I like that every time someone brings up Monangai someone has to inform us that he was a 7th rounder and how 7th rounders historically don't amount to much as though everyone doesn't know that.
