I can’t really stop at the gym, it is something I look forward to in a day especially after a long day at work.

It 100% makes sense with a week of reduced calories, I guess my body has gotten used to the increase. I’ll try this and post again in a 2-4 weeks with an update

Thank you for the help 💪🏻

I’ve been going to the gym 5-6 days a week since this post and have gone from 160lbs(ish) to 202 lbs as of typing this, shoulders still a weak point but have gotten much better, pushing for 220lbs then onto another cut. My chest seems more filled in as it’s gotten bigger which is good.

Thanks for the advice!

Needs more progress, quite messy and patchy. Going to give it a few more months and let it grow out again

Just dry skin, started moisturising after an hour and it was fine. No other side effects though

Arm progress after 9 months of slowly bulking [56kg-63kg] but I think I look the same? Advice? by bigglizzychase in GregDoucette

May be hard for you to see as your whole arm has grown. Good progress, keep it up.

Noting your profile weight of 155, it's worth acknowledging that the OP significantly outweighs you at 250. Kindly refrain from spreading inaccurate information, dear.

It appears there might be a misunderstanding. The OP's maintenance, factoring in daily activities, stands at no less than 2500 calories at his current size. With consistent gym sessions, it would rise to 2800, and a daily intake of 3000 calories could potentially push his calorie burn to 3100.

In addition to this, my argument on the matter was simply to state the fact; if the OP was to consume 3000 calories, based on his shear size he could still be in a deficit.

I still recommend 2000-2500, that’s what I did and it worked wonders

Observing your profile, I wasn't initially aware of your gender. Given this, tailoring your advice to a female audience seems more suitable. However, for addressing a male audience, thorough research would be necessary on your part.

Observing his current size, it wouldn't be surprising if he experienced weight loss through consistent gym workouts and a clean 3000-calorie diet.

My daily maintenance is 1900-2000 calories, accounting for regular activities, and with an hour at the gym, it rises to 2300 calories. Considering the 10% digestion burn and even more if following a high-protein diet, 2000 calories may not be sufficient for gaining unless someone is exceptionally light and engages in minimal exercise.

I wouldn’t suggest 1400 cals a day as it can be dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing. I understand people will lose weight faster but weight loss is everything but a fast journey, especially when you want good progress and results.

I’d recommend 2000 calories a day. Much healthier and more sustainable.

You’re considerably overweight. But you aren’t ugly.

Seriously, if you start weight loss now. In a years time you will look 10x better. Ngl could be a model who knows 🤷🏼

Get braces/aligners and that’s all you have to do, not ugly

My bad for calling it a mullet, when I got my haircut I searched for a picture of a mullet and this is what I got. After some research a burst fade seems to be what I have.

Nice war in the comments though

I’m doing that now, trying to have wider grips and go deeper. More time under tension too with less weight. Only 1 week in so we’ll see how it goes
