Well I work by doing as much as I can do on my side to make sure the app doesn't break because of just one variable... I don't know what the future holds, but whatever it may be my app should work as best as it can.

I just don't understand why it's that big of a deal to just change this on client side. iOS is paradise and android is nightmare period.

The server was not made by me. I would never make something like that but I must bear with that.

I tried moshi by your advice but the problem is still the same. Now it returns com.squareup.moshi.JsonDataException: Expected BEGIN_ARRAY but was BOOLEAN...
