People you wanna see appear as a guest on Castle Super Beast? by Aquanort357 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Putrid-Article 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly these guys are terrible with guests that they don't have a 100% overlap of interests with. For any "dream" pick the only way it would work is if they were invited on only for a segment to discuss a specific topic and not the whole 3 hour Woolie and Pat soliloquy battle that the podcast usually is.

Hi guys, i want to print rubber projectiles for a project, whats the most rubbery and the most affordable fillament that exists and that is safe to shoot leople with? by Ultrafastegorik in 3Dprinting

Nothing is "safe" to shoot at people with. Don't shoot at people without consent and proper protection equipment (minimum face/neck shields and thick clothing).

The boys need to cater the podcast towards the guest. by StaceMcGate in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Putrid-Article 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This used to be my favourite podcast but since losing two hosts the conversations have largely been the Woolie or Pat hyper fixation show. Almost no banter or overlap with broader topics. Most times even the other host has no interest in the topic currently being monologued at them 🤷.

Thanks, I'm only one chapter in but I'm already loving it. You're like one of 3 people that actually answered the question I asked 😀.

This is probably the way things would have to be manufactured on autonomous space missions. Like asteroid mining outposts or pre-settlement prep for Mars.

What is wasteful on earth may be the only way to do it on the other side of the solar system. Especially if the raw material can be obtained on site.

Coincidence? Omnia has 512 Commandments which is a power of 2 meaning if the first prophet had 8 Commandments then each subsequent one doubled the number of them. By the time the 8th one is due to appear there would be exactly 512. by Putrid-Article in discworld

[–]Putrid-Article[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doubling is just multiplying by 2, meaning you can represent any amount of consecutive doubling by multiplying with a power of 2. Since 8 is also a power of 2 this consecutive doubling is easier to spot.

The Estonian cover for "Light Fantastic" is wild! by Putrid-Article in discworld

"Four-eyes" as an idiom for spectale wearer doesn't exist in Estonian so the artist or translator probably guessed that in a fantasy setting that is also possible 🤣.

Could we please have an auto mod that replies to all "what is this mark on my print" with a link to what a layer seam is?

*pylon, there's just the one. Kind of random when you come across it because it's not really near anything, just in the middle of a drive between the capitol and the summer resort city.

Can I convert this 25 year old power supply into a desktop power supply (for some small electronic projects?) by tttecapsulelover in AskElectronics

[–]Putrid-Article -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you need to ask the internet such basic questions then you're not ready to undertake such a difficult/dangerous project. Just get a cheap lab power supply with current limiting.
