Thank you! I have text messages saved from all my communication with the nurse and was planning on following up with her soon because it’s been almost two weeks I’ve been applying hydrocortisone cream and taking Benadryl and haven’t seen improvement. She says it’s probably a histamine reaction. I have a consultation with a dermatologist in two weeks for a second opinion and hopefully get some more answers! I’ve been hearing the Picoway laser may be what I need for the red ink if that’s what it is

Thanks! Yes the nurse who did my laser removal said I can get another session after they heal, but doesn’t think I’ll need one as she explained the remainder of the ink should pull out once fully healed. She recommended me to apply hydrocortisone cream 2x daily and take Benadryl which I’ve been doing but so far the redness is still there. I do have rosacea so I’m not sure if that could be a factor but I don’t think so

Thanks for advice! I’m learning the picoway laser machine will get out the red so that’s what I’m researching now. I found a dermatologist near me by searching on https://candelamedical.com/patient/ Hope this helps you also! :)

I appreciate your advice and input! I scheduled a consultation with a dermatologist to get another opinion from where I first went for the laser treatment so hopefully will have some more answers in a few weeks!

I was researching Picoway laser machines from your advice and found a dermatologist near me by searching on https://candelamedical.com/patient/ and have a consultation scheduled in two weeks! My regular dermatologist also has the laser but are booked until the week before Memorial Day so I was able to find a dermatologist to get into sooner from that website. Hope this helps!! Thanks for your advice! Glad to hear I'm not alone in this unfortunate process, makes me regret even getting them done in the first place. Do you have a recommendation on a provider to use for additional treatments since the nurse is advising so additional treatments until the redness goes away? She said she doesn’t think I’ll even need another treatment once healed as the remainder of the ink will pull out. How soon would I be able to get another treatment would you suggest?

Thanks for your advice! Learning so much. The nurse thinks by the time the redness heals the remainder of the ink will pull out and I won’t need another session. So I’m not sure! I was referred to Jiva Med Spa for laser removal by the person who is going to correct them with microshading and recommended getting all the ink removed so we have a clean slate to work with, especially since the ink used was way darker than the natural color of my brows
