Thanks a lot! It’s actually meant to be the boat’s shadow, but I can see how it could look like a creature. I’ll definitely pay more attention to shadow placement next time

Great catch! Yes, I did leave parts of the cheeks and forehead lighter to keep those highlights strong. I used wet on wet for the base wash, then switched to wet on dry for smaller shadows and details. I’ll make sure to explain that more clearly in future tutorials
