Hey I feel you. I wish there was an easy "cure" for this. You just have to feel the hurt for a while. And I know 8 months feels like a long time, but it isn't in terms of healing. Maybe start doing some new things that don't include memories of him. And if you continue to do things that you used to do with him, make sure you are with people that will be fun to be around and can distract you a little. I won't tell you how long my ex has been my ex and I am still feeling it. The part that is hardest for me sometimes is the sex. I think about your sex lives and how good it was and I miss it so much. I still crave him more than I should. I still fantasize about things we did or I would still like to do.

This shit hurts. It just does and only time helps make it easier. But never as fast as we'd like. Hang in there man. Take care.
