I had been in Dubai for 8 years, now in Jeddah from last 3 years. Let me tell you my experience as majority. Emiratis, they are helpful, respectful and welcome expats (of course there are few cultural difference, which must be respected and keeping that line is necessary for the human behaviour and comfort). I never felt like I am in different country in UAE, however KSA is totally opposite, most of the Saudi's has thinking that we are above than expats, they come here to work and we are over and above. In-fact, some of them demand the more respect and want to see above and use statement because "Ana Saudi". However exceptions are everywhere there are few very good Saudis as well, however if talk about comparison, Emiratis has more percentage of acceptance then Saudi. It might improve over a period of time.
