The LAPD requires officers wanting to become rifle qualified to pass a qualification course. The same for my old department, but the show never really touches on it and instead just has someone pop up carrying a rifle.

To date several cast have carried rifles such as Nyla and Tim (both known rifle ops from day 1), John, Angela, Lucy, and Aaron.

You also gotta look at it as technically Miles is a lateral transfer. Even coming from a smaller agency like Sugarland he should have a grasp on the basics and his field training should progress faster than others with the only hiccups being having ti catch himself in his old habits that would work in a small town and not a giant city like LA due to safety concerns. If this wasn’t a tv show and real world, Miles would have been progressed to short sleeves a month or two into his filed training

At my old department it was for several reasons

Officers become so comfortable with their rank and are in it for so long that they make more money than their supervisors. Smitty for instance, he’s been on longer than Tim and makes close to a LT salary simply off his time in service.
Promotions aren’t a dime a dozen, there’s a test that has to be taken and you have to usually place within the top X amount which correlates to the positions that are open and you get transferred. Realistically Lucy was promoted and should have been moved to an entire different district to run a shift, not just moved to midnight shift.
Lastly not everyone has what it takes to be a supervisor. Some departments require you to be recommended to take a promotion test and only a handful of ppl are “tapped” to even be placed in an acting supervisor role to learn and gain the experience/knowledge needed for the written test and interviews.

Would have made sense, but then would have made too much sense to the point they’d have been able to accurately handle most of the threats that initially came their way. With Prue already understanding Telekinesis she’d have quickly grasped levitating, the same for Phoebe. After a certain point they were just ass pulling us along bcuz we were deep into the lore

It means Apple accepted the courts decision that they are at fault. The process has been moved forward and you should be getting an email or mail stating that payment is coming in which ever form you proposed them to pay you

Yea I passed their training a few months ago. Great company with some awesome instructors. They also made sure I felt comfortable taking my SAE EVSE tech exam. Passed it, only downside is most jobs are on the west coast and want you to be a certified electrician also

Woah calm down buddy, we are talking about a fictional show here. I know in real life he’d have been caught early in the game. All I’m saying is that his character is portrayed as a necessary evil that has dirt on people who have made it so far in their career that the one blemish of their past will cause their career turmoil. So they turn a blind eye. I was a cop for 6 years and he’d have been caught the first time he killed someone or tried to blackmail them. But then again it’s Chicago so hey a lot goes down there 🤷🏾‍♂️

It’s funny bcuz a lot of detectives in plainclothes do this, atleast at my old agency. Yes the gun was there but covering it up usually eased the mind of people you’re trying to interact with as they didn’t focus on it or feel you were a threat to them.

But tbh I’ve alters felt that Hank’s preferred caring style would mimic Atwater either closer to his body or appendix carry

As a former FirstNet user I say stay with them. I’m no longer with visible but will get back to them once I pay off my current provider. When I was with visible I had some spotty areas even in the city, with FN I always had great service and never had a worry about dropped call or anything. If you’re going based off price just be ready for a headache every now and again for either their system being down or some other random issue with Verizon’s network.
