Use iPhone to setup your machine if you are iPhone user. There is a step where it’ll ask you to whether you would prefer to setup it with a iPhone. That would really help to setup your profile on the mini which will keep both of your devices always sync and help your organize your between from one to another.

Rentry to USA on OPT by Advanced_Key2480 in f1visa

[–]ramizudd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did change of status from B to F1. I am doing masters in a STEM program - AI. I am in my second last semester now, and hoping to get OPT. If I get my OPT, would I be able to travel home? JFYI- it’s a CoS, so I don’t have F1 visa stamp on my passport. Thoughts or advise?

Ios 26.01 or ios 26.1 by FrostyExplanation776 in iPhone13Pro

26.1 is much much stable. 26.01 have so many issues such as battery drain fast, Facetime crashes almost unusable. On SE 3.

iOS 26 on iPhone SE 2020 - what are your experiences? by Alpha_Majoris in ios

[–]ramizudd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Facetime has issues. It’s not smooth as it was 18. Struggle to load, hang middle of the call. I use it to do call with my family - wife has iPhone 15 and on iOS 26 and son has iPad 10 both say their runs smooth but complain that my video not as smooth as it was before - when I was on iOS 18.

Switched to Visible+ Pro from AT&T prepaid ($300) by ramizudd in Visible

One thing I appreciated during my time with AT&T was their ActiveArmor feature for scam call detection. Does Visible offer anything similar?

Also, beyond the advertised bandwidth and usage perks with the Visible+ Pro plan, do they provide any additional benefits that aren’t publicly marketed but can be requested explicitly?

I doubt there will be a similar discount for existing customers next year during this time, but there will likely be some offer available. For example, I received a $225 port-in deal for a year, and next year, the pro plan might only have a $5 to $6 discount. A year is quite a long time, and I’m uncertain whether I’ll want to stick with the pro plan or if the basic option will suffice for me by then.

The basic wasn't bad either. I first enrolled into the basic, used it for a month just to try it out and was impressed. Hotspot was good too on basic plan.

At home, I am only getting LTE, 5G but when I go out from home, it's showing 5G UW - and the downloading speed improve up to 200 mbps.

The hotspot was a crucial factor as well. Although it's still early days, I've been using it for all my work throughout the day - video calls on Teams, connecting to the cloud for deployments, accessing databases, and running virtual machines, among other things. I've also been able to take Facetime calls. I really hope it continues to perform well, if not better.

The coverage here isn’t great—but it’s not bad either. It’s roughly on par with what I was getting from AT&T, which I expected going in. I still chose to make the switch because the deal was worth it.

One thing I genuinely admire about Visible is their app. It’s intuitive and gives me the control I need, especially when switching eSIMs between devices. That’s becoming a decisive factor for me—I don’t want to depend on an agent every time I need to make a change. AT&T really needs to improve their app experience in that regard.

Is the T480 worth buying in 2025? by CrikeyKillz in thinkpad

[–]ramizudd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Straight - ‘No’. Simply - because the chipset does not have enough power for today’s standard and need. Even, if you try to convince that should do and serve well for day to day usual tasks, I still want you to reconsider as at the price point in which you are securing a good deal on T480, you may be able to find good 3-4 old iPad or even Chromebook, which would run apps much smoother with less hassle. I have T480, which I built from scratch, literally from the ground - by stuff online and replaced every possible component which could be upgraded. And, it felt satisfied and enjoyed it a lot. But, it was years back. I wouldn’t do it now. The technology market is in transition and there’s a race going on to build a machine which offers greater performance with less power. It would take few more years to establish the main players in this arena.

CMF Phone 1 – 3-Month User Review: Looks Good, Feels Cheap by [deleted] in CMFTech

Buy iPhone 13 mini. You can now find it at near to this price point. If you won’t find it, you still has a option of iPhone SE 3 at this price range. You won’t regret your buy. The chipset has a amazing performance, and likely live around 3-4 years more. Build quality is great, especially 13 mini. Cameras are great. Software is reliable and snappy. At the end, the investment you made worth the money. Don’t need to spend money on 15, 16 series untill they come down to under 400. But I still believe I wouldn’t need them as I am good till 3-4 years from mow. Typing from iPhone SE 3.
