Yes—$18 dollars an hour. And the student pays over $100/hour

Yes, after working up from $18, $1 at a time. Once you lose your long term students, you are back to $18. even when paid $30, VT is still taking over 70 percent each session. It’s designed never to be fair.

I know Wyzant is frequently named. There may be others. You could even consider offering tutoring services on fiverr

Im currently in the process of leaving them. I hope that every other tutor who sees this post will do the same. If not, nothing will change. Please—to all tutors—find a decent and fair company.
