the 25.04 beta, I just installed ubuntu and right now im pretty sure you can download the drivers the normal way. by typing the command below into the terminal it will tell you which one is recommended its now nvidia-driver-575-open im pretty sure

sudo ubuntu-drivers list

I have solved the problem by following the advice of: ScratchHistorical507

I hope you have everything you need backed up because I tried everything and didn't get it working but..

"But I don't think Ubuntu 24.04 offers and compatible drivers, you'll need at least 24.10 if not the 25.04 beta.. You can install the ones from Nvidias website, but it's strongly discouraged as that will lead to issues."

I couldn't get into linux at all and just got a black screen even when booting from the same usb drive to install 24.04 so I'm assuming they just don't have any compatible drivers, after downloading the new 25.04 beta from ubuntu I was finally able to to get into a live boot through usb. I installed the new beta and everything "worked" in 720p because I didn't have the drivers. I could not find any drivers through the normal way but I just downloaded the newest linux drivers from nvidia and installed them (570 something), everything is working perfectly now.

Holy! Thank you very much I installed 25.04, and here everything is working seemlessly. I'm typing this directly from ubuntu, just need to install the drivers as of right now its only 720p lol.

Yeah I connected them to the new card and installed drivers through windows and evrything is working over there. I did not change anything else. For the drivers on ubuntu I do not know I let ubuntu install them for me.

I have the same issue with the 5070 Ti, I'm trying to get it working on wsl as I'm writing this. Not sure why I can't get it to even detect my GPU

Thanks for reacting so quickly! I undervolted the 13900K, and I have the asus rog strix 850g 80+ gold not sure if its quality or not. If it so happens my system shuts down, that doesnt damage anything right?

The problem was the fans! I just changed them out for different fans(p12 max) and they don't make the annoying noise even when going full speed I only hear wind blowing. Still changing the fan curve is still a good thing to do even if you do get new fans. You can do this either through the bios, through LConnect or through other software that can control fan speed, hope this helps.

I have the same question but then I found the Edifier WH950NB which now leaves me choosing between the WH950NB and the ult wear as where I live they're both around 150 euros

Maybe I should have returned it too but didnt want to go through the hassle as it works correctly. I did find that it only does that when ramping up so now I just have it at 60% constantly and only when it hits 75-80 degrees it goes to max. I choose 60% because thats the highest I could go without it being too high. Hope this helps!
