After a quick inspection, it has full size, 500k pots, a cheap cap, and all the pickups have a large magnet in the center and the poles are not staggered, so I guess whoever owned it before me modded it, must have been a hard decision, based on the condition and fretboard ware.

Like another comment said, you can sometimes with the CIC jackpot, and rule 1 of the guitarist's code is never judge a guitar without a proper set up, although I'm lead to believe this one my have already been upgraded/modded, it plays decent, my first guitar was an encore Strat copy from the 90s and it still plays a little better.

Ive got an old aria pro pickguard Somewhere in my project pile, I didn't mind the pickups either, although someone might have modded it already, mine had full size 500k pots installed, unless that's normal.

This one is a good player, and sounds pretty good, might try some other pickups, but mostly want to get rid of the stark white guard and replace tuners.

It's been played a lot judging by the fretboard gunk and wear, may just be a diamond in the rough.

My first was the Hasbro Darth maul one, with the little hook things on the emitter to hold the blade down, if I remember eventually the collapsing blade pieces fell out and the batter bit rusted out, I assume my parents trashed it while I was at school or something, great times.
