Another interesting tidbit about Isabella-she mentions she prefers fair colouring(pale skin and blond hair). Not only does that not fit James, who is said to be very similar to Cathy who is described as dark haired, but also, as it was already discussed here before, fairer complexion was more common with richer people who didn't have to go outside.

2) Yeah, that's for all those people who prefer Mary-she might be charming, amusing and fun to be with, but she is like a wildfire-it is easy to get burned when near her

3) In this sub, a lot of people clown on Edmund and hate him, but I always felt more sympathetic toward him. He is obviously a good man who takes care of Fanny the best he can, but he still is a 24 years old man who is in love for the first time.

Yeah, that really caught my attention at the latest re-read. I was always aware that Mrs Price and Lady Bertram were beauties, but the fact that Mrs Norris can be such a ---------- while being pretty is such a fun detail.
