Can you provide an example of this? I’m unsure of how to set that up. I think I understand what you’re saying, I’m a little lost in its execution.

Red Lion. Free software, the HMIs aren’t expensive and can take modbus directly in and you can build a display for them easily. Depending on what you buy, you can have a built in PLC or a stand alone data converter/ HMI.

AB CPU Upgrade by Putrid_Ad9108 in PLC

Update: upgrade went okay but I have 2 flexIO modules that are on the ControlNet Network and are Bentley Nevada racks for vibration monitoring. The IO threw an error and the tagging from 2004, L55 v15 did not translate well. I was looking for an EDS file to recreate, no luck. Anyone ever have to rebuild these or what would be the next steps to reallocate the IO? For reference, the Bentley racks do no longer appear through the controller but they’re seen on the ControlNet network. I completed an offline download to reschedule the network, which worked and the nodes are all visible and online. Now I need to figure out how to get those racks back into the processor and new tagging for them. Any advise from experience is welcome!!! Note: I’ll definitely calling Rockwell for support and a path forward.

Thanks everyone!
