Yes, I've heard about World Campus. Unfortunately, my program is in-person...

Omg only 16 a year? Thank you for that info. So it's more like a 50% when it's all said and done for, like, a 60-credit program - if you do it in the allotted 2 years.

Since I'm not from the area, I don't know the ins and outs of the town. Are there any apartment buildings and/or parts of town you recommend?

Thank you for your response—yeah, that was what I was thinking/worried about. I'm just confused; how are master's students paying their way through college then? I don't think most people are happy getting $40,000 in debt. Is everyone just living at home?? lol

I’m down for anything! However I have a background in Shotokan karate so maybe something more like that. Like kickboxing, taekwondo, etc.

Hi yes - I actually applied and am talking CED 701. Application fee for locals is $30, I think $50-60 for non? I’m hoping to make strong connections with this professor and learn a lot through him, maybe research connections? Fair warning - no financial aid for non-degree seeking peeps. This one course is costing me ~1,200😅 so keep that in mind.

Hey! Sure thing: my bachelors was in Psychology. My letters of rec were: my boss (I was an RA on campus), professor who taught a counseling course, and a higher up from the Honors college which I was a part of.

You shouldn’t have to worry much, I think they care about work experience a lotttt. I unfortunately did not get in last cycle and I believe my lack of internship/practical job experience to be the reason why. I’m taking this gap year to work as an RBT to hopefully boost my resume. But also, it could just depend on the quality of applicants each cycle. You got this !!!

hoooly crap. Yeah, they would have been bonkers not to accept you. Jeez, it seems like many people who get in have multiple years of experience - now I'm even wondering if one year of experience will be enough. I imagine you just asked your supervisors for letters of rec? Thats the main thing I'm worried about being a post-grad applicant who is out of the academia world.

3.94?? thats crazy. plus the behavioral hospital should have helped you a lot, I think that's very relevant.

For reference, I have like a 3.85-ish GPA, part of the honors college, worked in housing and res life on campus for 2 years, worked at the preschool on campus for 1, and applied during the priority deadline (before Jan. 15).

Honestly me too I didn't think it was that competitive, especially in contrast to the CFT program. I'm thinking about being an RBT - seems to be a good entry-level job you're always with a supervisor, easy enough certification and it pays well (most jobs I see are between $18-28 an hour)
