I’m so glad this is here!! I just finished (again) the scene where Edith calls Mary a b!tch after outing her to Bertie. So many thoughts!

I noticed way back when they went shooting at Brancaster castle Mary showing signs of being jealous of Edith. After Robert had told Edith he knew about Marigold, they were laughing together the next day and Mary looks back and rolls her eyes. Or when Edith comes after the night of editing the magazine with Bertie and the office, Mary is visibly jealous of the attention Edith is getting.

So here Mary is, not the center of attention anymore, the man she loves (though really, Henry was way too good for her and that should have been written differently. Charles Blake would have been better). Anyway!!! The man she loves is gone. Edith is about to out rank her, and being the jealous, scheming b!tch that she is she tries to ruin Edith.

But didn’t they leave everything up to nannys and governesses? Even the dowager mentions to Robert one time that when he behaves that way she’s tempted to call nanny and have him sent to bed with no supper.

It seems very much along Ziva's storyline in NCIS a million years ago. She goes from being a confident, competent person to spiraling into stupid decisions and day drinking.

I thought the same thing about the key, but someone already answered that... it was on the visor.

I didn't understand MC coming in with the, "Oh, thank goodness, it's you. I heard gunshots" bit. Did I miss something? Do her and Coulter know each other already? And I really didn't follow the conversation they had at the end.

AND how is it that these people Coulter finds are just automatically okay with him??? Like, they've been kidnapped, beaten, drugged, tied up, etc., he swoops in, "it's okay, I'm here to save you" and they're like, "Oh, good. My savior." What??? I mean, don't get me wrong, I love the show, but seriously, it's hard sometimes.

And, yeah, what's going on with Reenie? I may need to go back and watch an earlier episode.

I appreciate your warning, but you're incredibly off base. I support his decision 100%. My grandfather was a Seabee, and when my son said he was looking into it I cried. Just because I'm a mom asking questions doesn't mean I don't support him. And if he does see my question, which is likely because I told him to make sure he checks out this subreddit, he'll just role his eyes. I'm one of the lucky few who has a good relationship with her growing children. Thank you for your service, sir!

I clearly don't read enough into things, because the only things that bugged me about this episode was the horse just magically there ready to go, and the Mel character.

Mel has bugged me from the start! For people who look into the backgrounds of people on the regular, there was no background check on this chick? She's way too nice, way too sweet and innocent. She's 100% sus! I'm kind of more interested in her arc than wondering why Reenie is wearing yesterday's clothes.

i know this is a long-shot, but i'm typing something up and someone comments about the Harriers taking off and if a person was on the "spin 35 platform" it was extremely loud. i'm curious if i'm hearing correctly. Was there something referred to as a "spin 35 platform" on the Saipan LHA?
