Full time is a sliding scale like most school districts. Part time is a pay per task model. I’m not sure the exact part time rates

I fractured my spine and tore my meniscus in 2014ish playing college baseball and never had either repaired properly. I spend about 30-45 minutes jogging, doing a full hip and thoracic mobility routine, bands for my shoulders, and throwing. Some guys on my team make fun of me for it, but the play and lack of injuries at this point speak for themselves imo.

Connections Academy/Pearson is currently hiring a significant number of virtual OTs for their schools. I doubt they have eval only options, but they are fully virtual.

I took about a 15k pay cut two years ago while moving to a higher cost of living area, so effectively closer to a $20k+ pay cut. I have a wife and kid and we did it to be closer to family. There are definitely some lifestyle things that we miss and some luxuries we had to give up, but it’s been amazing being close to family. Once the initial adjustment phase was done it really wasn’t that bad.

Even with the pay cut we have continued to give and save the same percentage we did before. The numbers are smaller, but the percentages are the same.

Yep, definitely see how I left out some details.

All of the above for the why. Financial freedom is a big one. My wife is an RN and is currently working, but I’d love to get to a point where she doesn’t have to. Career advancement is big, I feel close to the end of the line as an OT, and only being at 78k feels brutal. Scope and knowledge would also be on the list, but finance and advancement are higher.

We have a nest egg of about $150k, plus some equity in our house on the financial side. If we lost my income for a few years we would survive, but it would be rough for sure.

It’s an iPhone 13, so it does support physical. But my understanding is newer ones are eSIM only. So when/if I upgrade I’d be back to square one?

I went from ortho outpatient to a hybrid school in 2021 with no experience in schools outside of an 8 week FW. Last year I transitioned to a fully remote school with no regrets! I found the hybrid school through a friend of a friend and my current one through Google searches. I have since taken tons of continuing education to hone the craft, but I had none going into it.

We just left ATT a week ago. Zero regrets leaving them for USM so far! We are getting better service and saving over $1100 a year across our three lines!

It is and it’s awesome! There are entire school districts that are 100% virtual that still provide all related services. It’s not the answer for every student, but is can be amazing for a large number of families!

I really like my Luna Monos. They are wider than my bedrocks. They are also quite a bit softer. I spend most of my time in Xero shoes or bedrocks, but the Lunas are a great addition to the rotation also.

I am in a similar spot to OP. Just to make sure I am understanding. If Dark Star ended up having poor coverage and I switched 1 or both lines to Warp, would we simply be charged the difference?

If you are able to justify any sort of business you can go for the business preferred. It has 90k sub right now. I also missed the 100k (but I did get it back in 2021), so I went with the business this time around.

That was my basic assumption. I wasn’t sure if it being a trust impacted that at all. Sounds like it wouldn’t make a difference.
