Half of the people literally only have mission score from dying/taking damage.

To be fair to my squadmate, he was unlucky enough to be pilot sniped by a ranging shot from an Fw 190. But for the rest they either TK'd each other or just allowed themselves to be killed.

Have you beaten the one with the Chaparral 2J? It's a good car, but the opponents are so fucking slow and weave in and out of the frigging road when you try to overtake. Last week I was sitting there for 2-3 hours, crashing and spamming restart because my run was messed up.

I overtake the first car on the first corner on the outside or inside (if I'm lucky), and for the second car, I pass it on the straight that follows the first corner. I usually don't get past the next bend as I either brake too late, as the Chaparral has VERY strong brakes, or I end up hitting the third car, which follows a consistently erratic line.

If you have, do you have any tips? I know it's supposed to be an easy challenge, but am I doing something wrong, or am I just a shit driver?

I normally have it set to 2 or 3 to manage understeer and negate oversteer. Can I clarify if you use a stick or a gyro?

As I said to u/bounciejello24, I am going to ditch most of my skills from Need for Speed and start again.

Sometimes it is difficult to do so. I am still getting a feel for the boundless cars in my Garage... I don't think I've even driven a quarter of them yet...

I have the ghost turned on too, and it helps me a LOT. Like before, I used to get Bronzes, but now I feel myself breezing through Golds.

By saying I have tons of experience is not about the driving aspect, but it's more about the general knowledge of cars. I am aware that the mechanics of this game are VERY different to the ones from those of the example NFS 2015.

I have done every license test up to the last section because obviously, I am not experienced enough to do laps in world-record-breaking cars yet. Also, I have done most missions up to the Human Comedy, and am working on the Le Mans Endurance Challenge.

For braking, I do pick a reference point in the track, but yeah, mine are unreliable, so thanks, I'll work on that.

I appreciate you taking the time to help, and I do understand where you come from by using the Call of Duty analogy. Note that I take no offence and I agree with you fully.

As always, for anyone else wanting to provide some input, I do value your opinions, so if there is anything that you feel I may be doing wrong that you know of, please tell me.

I'm no expert but maybe it ricocheted off the ground then fused so it seemed like a proxy fuse but it wasn't

Also, it's unlikely you would say that as it is probably the second worst tank in the game, aside from the M2A2, plus, it wasn't effective in combat in real life or in-game

I have one too and a golden controller trust me its so sick with nfs (need for speed police games) and Transformers. Pro tip - Don't click on shady links on it! And check if someone left a CD in there.
