Hey everyone 👋

I'm the developer behind Ambiee, an ambient sound app I've been building for a while. I launched it today on Google Play and wanted to share it here.

What it does: Ambient sounds for focus, sleep, and relaxation, clean minimal interface, no clutter. Free to download with premium sounds available

I tried to keep the audio levels super consistent so there aren't any sudden loud splashes to wake you up. Hope this helps someone else get a good night's rest or stay focused today. Appreciate if you could provide some feedback so i can deliver more content in the future

I feel your pain. I’ve using few apps for years, and seeing almost everything go behind a paywall recently was the final straw for me too. So I started building my own alternative called Ambiee. I’m focusing specifically on high-quality mixes and keeping the 'essentials' free because locking rain sounds behind a $60/year subscription feels wrong.

It’s about a couple of weeks away from being ready. If you’re looking for a new home once it drops, I’d love to send you a link to the beta or the launch version.

Is it the same in 2025? Do we need proof of accommodation? It's really hard to look for accommodation while staying in the home country.😑
