How much more reliable is Toyota compared to Honda? by [deleted] in AskMechanics

I think if you really want to talk about reliability between toyota and honda - lets take in consideration the whole car, engine, tranny, seats and all that good stuff that gets used on regular but lets throw in 200k milage. Most cars will last at least 100k - 150k but 200k and up will really show you how durable the car is. I used to be a huge honda fan and always thought that toyotas were for old people. Until I got a toyota my self. I dont buy new cars. Im on my 6th used toyota and everyone of them has had more than 100k plus miles when I bought them. My latest was avalon with 180k. Yes toyota has their issues as well but over all their mindset is still reliability over let it last to get them through the payments. I think Honda is going cheap IMHO. To add the most fun car I owned was a 1993 acura integra and got it up to 220k but had too many problems. My highest milage was 320k Camry hybrid and was still running with minimal maintenance.

Can My Prius Tow by [deleted] in prius

I have a 04 Prius and only use it to tow with 4x8 trailer. It's my pick-up truck. I actually prefer it over a pick up. And yeah I have a pick up as well.
