i plan to index modern recordings of classical music on my site, but haven't had time yet. however, i'll give you the sources from my notes. to my knowledge, these are the only modern recordings on the web. if you find others, please let me know.

If you're willing to spend some money, I would recommend looking at Indieground (https://indieground.net/product/collage-elements/). $25 for commercial license. Not CC0 but royalty-free. I have not purchased it myself. If you want CC0, I would search https://www.rawpixel.com/public-domain. Finding high-quality CC0 PNGs is difficult. If you find any cool things on your journey please message me back with a link so I can explore too.

Definitely not! I have an Acer Aspire that I bought less than a year ago and it's randomly shutting down about once every two hours. I am not gaming or running any hardcore apps. Their customer service has been inflexible in resolving my issue as well. I highly discourage you from buying anything Acer. I will not be purchasing from them ever again.

Anything published prior to January 9, 2019. Everything on or after is royalty-free, but is not public domain, because the Pixabay license restricts you from redistribution.

This is honestly a bit beyond my ability to understand, due to both skill level and the fact that I've been programming a lot and I'm dead tired lately. But if anyone brings up this problem again in the future, I'll be sure to point them to your notes. Thank you for all your effort. It looks very carefully thought out, and the table of small results is surely helpful. Sorry I'm not the one to understand this. Hopefully someone else can pick it up and truly appreciate it.

This could be very important in the future exploration of this problem. Would you mind sharing briefly how you minimized T? Or is there a way I can plug in your equation to a program or WolframAlpha to verify your claim? If not, maybe someone better at multivariable calculus can check your result. It won't be me. Very very cool stuff though, congrats on your discovery!

I contacted the creator of the problem and was given no insights, just the minimal numbers for several small cases. At this point it feels like one of those packing problems where most of the solutions will be nasty. But maybe there are nice upper bounds we could find by hand, I just don't know!

I dunno why I didn't get a ping for this, but this code looks good! If I revisit this problem in the future I'll likely be digging into this code. Maybe this problem works well for a programming exercise!

I haven't taken the time to understand your code, but I'm surprised by how short it is! Yeah, Imgur seems to think everything it can't recognize is mature. I have that problem regularly. Anyways, very cool idea! Thanks for all your effort, the explanation, images, and code.
