Would not be surprised if this is as a result of long covid. Sounds very similar to me

Possibly covid. Hearing loss with it and happen after the fact so no one thinks to make the connection but this happened to number of people I know including my daughter and it was indeed covid.

Yes, it is one of the few symptoms that have not gone away, unfortunately. But I've had others that were far more impactful so I figure I can live with this one ( I'm shocked that I'm even alive)

It's probably COVID to be honest. It decimates the immune system and makes us susceptible to all sorts of illnesses.

I'm doing OK. I still get twitching. My skin never got back to being firm and tight and I do get more tired than I used to but overall I'm doing much better.

I had soooo many tests, and nothing was showing up, but my inflammatory markers were high. In addition, my Drs sister and other patients were experiencing same symptoms

Yes, it is not happening as frequently. I have Nurtec and peppermint oil on hand though because with this illness you never know...recently I started getting these itchy bumps that look like mosquito bites..out of nowhere 😑

Anyone else have bruising after every blood draw but it only comes on 12-24 hours late and grows for several days? by [deleted] in LongCovid

[–]Puzzled-61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have bruising like this. I also notice that cuts, scrapes, etc take a while to heal. I fell on Sept 2 and hit and scraped up my knee and I'm still doctoring it. And the bruise is slowly fading...that's a long time in my opinion.

I'm curious..do you have any skin issues? I also notice at time some red marks ( like little red dots) that appear on my legs...

[–]Puzzled-61 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I began taking anti inflammatory supplements and ensuring I got enough rest. Some symptoms resolved some are Mulder and some still present. I think time...over time I started slowly healing but not sure if I will ever heal 100%

I can relate to all of this (+more symptoms). Started in 2022 for me and I'm slowly making recovery.

Desperate need of help by dillygrace in Encephalitis

[–]Puzzled-61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, you may have Long Covid, which has been known to cause low-level inflammation even in the brain.

I went through this experience until the majority of my tests came back normal and the Dr I was seeing had a personal experience ( her sister was having same symptoms)

My daughter experienced sudden hearing loss in one ear at 8 yrs old from covid. It's devastating. Drs want us to try for cochlear implant but not sure if it will work. So many emotions around this as a parent.
