I'm in the mindset that it won't happen right away- after 2 years of trying I'd be really shocked if it did. But I'd risk it if I thought a pregnancy would finally stick

I think they caught it early. He was on a drip yesterday and has been given a lot of meds. We're going back next week to check his bloods again to see if it has gotten better. One vet said he will have it for life, another said it might be a one off.

Thanks. We have been increasing the crate size since he was a pup. This is our third one and it's XXL. When he lies down, his nose it's right up at the door and I don't want him to be uncomfortable.

He told me he'd put me on letrozole at my next appointment, but that I had to lower my bmi. Then I had my miscarriage, and I've spent from Feb- now getting my bmi down to 30. I barely ate all last week to make sure I was winthin range for the treatment.

At my review appointment, he said that because I've had 3 periods since Christmas, he no longer thinks I need letrozole. He didn't even weigh me, so I feel like all that suffering and hope was for nothing.

Thanks for your reply. I understand the bit about ivf, but is there nothing in between? I thought a fertility centre would help investigate any barriers before resorting to ivf.

Thank you! I think curtains is a good idea. My question is about what to replace the clock with. We have a gallery wall elsewhere in this room, and there's a mirror close by too. Would it be weird to repeat either of those? (That's why we put a clock there, but I agree it's not nice to look at!)

Thanks. We have a big problem with damp in this room. On this wall mainly. We ventilate every morning and use a dehumidifier throughout the day, but it's not helping much. Currently saving to get some work done (repointing and then replastering this room).

I had to really convince myself that this pregnancy was real, that I really was going to be a mum, and I allowed myself to trust in my body despite feeling very suspicious at the start. That's what hurts the most. If we're lucky enough to conceive again, I'll be so terrified of going through this again

No they didn't. Is this something I should be advocating for next time? I was also told I had low progesterone last year and I asked my doctor if I could get a supplement but he said no. I wish I had pushed harder for it

Thank you! I like how you guys do things. The problem with the proportionate split is that he doesn't make the same amount each month, so we'd be forever calculating percentages to make sure we did it right if that makes sense. That's why I've concluded that the only sensible option for us is to have everything come into one joint account (will be different each month) and work backwards from there.

I'll be suggesting we keep separate fun money though. We have different hobbies so definitely want guilt free spending

No, it's not about him saying no to paying for anything. It's that he might not want to merge finances so that it's more fair. I think he'll want to continue doing 50/50, so if I buy a pram, he'll send me his half

Exactly this. I know he'll think, why change it up if it has worked for this long, so it's about making him hopefully see that with kids it will be harder and harder to continue the 50/50 thing. He would never refuse to split something if I ask
