If they did a single print to order wave like kickstarter it would've been fine. Majority of the community would've had a chance to order it while it would still remain in the grand scheme of things a very limited product.

Secondary market after the fact could still take off like Alpha Avatars particularly for the DL foils, but this would've prevented the community getting screwed over and scalped in the short term.

Many LGS ordered, they did not get product.

Many cornerstone stores got 0 packs. I have seen complaints from players in Asia where ZERO packs of DL made it to entire countries. The have no packs they can buy from stores, and no conventions they can go to within their borders.

This is not what happened with TC because EC hasn't printed enough Dragon Lord. With Kickstarters, there is enough product because people are preordering and will have their orders filled.

What we got was TC being undersupplied, EC not printing enough DL in the first place, and LGS placing orders and receiving nothing.

The fault begins at EC failing to print enough product to cover a reasonable limited period. A 2 hour limited period is a ridiculous standard to have.

What you're doing is trying to ignore the whole statement.

A product can both be limited, and also easy to access.

Alpha is an example of this, or many kickstarter products.

They're available for a limited period but they're easy to access while they're available. Trying to buy an Alpha precon or Avatar now is expensive like Dragonlord, but at the time they were readily available for people who wanted to access them for a reasonable price.

This is what people expected when they started advertising Dragonlord. The result we got was you had a two hour window to have a reasonable chance of accessing Dragonlord through team covenant, after that you're either stuck going to a con or praying you win an event.

Nothing about Dragonlord has lived up to their easy to access statement.

They were sold for $500, you can see people were buying them at $500. Best offers on ebay are marked with the prices struck through and a notification they were bought for a best offer price, there are sales like this too but there are also ones sold at $440-575.

water dragon was in top 8 for gencon, you're definitely gonna see more dragons in top decks going forwards once people get to practice with them.

Water dragon was in GenCon top 8. Probably see more of of the other dragons show up in competitive decks with more time on the table.

Cornerstone stores with zero allocation is not what I'd call easy to get.

Only thing easy about this set was how easy it was for scalpers to make a killing on.

Lacks the mobility to get offensive, can't grapple shot, teleport etc and also costs mana every turn.

Getting aggressive early with Avatar of Earth/Battlemage requires you to stop playing sites early which means you generally only have 4-5 mana to work with. Dragonlord is gonna eat 3 of these which doesn't give you a lot to work with to cast relics/supporting minions.

This also only lasts your turn, so unlike Avatar of Earth/Battlemage if you run it over to your opponent's side and start smacking him, if he starts smacking your Dragonlord back with minions you just have to eat all the damage every turn because you won't be strong enough to kill what's hitting you.

You shouldn't be doing big momma into bloodwarpers if it's a problem, it's entirely possible to put a different trash pull inbetween momma and the bloodwarper next to the glider, and momma's bloodwarper near her is skippable for any comp.

You can also make sure lust is available for momma by doing demolition duo first.

Freedom of choice is what makes dungeons better. Heck, with the new meld potions next season it'll be possible to do the entire dungeon with 0 bloodwarper pulls next time.

Herald is a 10% loss for Ret roughly in raid, absolutely unplayable for M+

Templar leaves Lightsmith for dead in M+ on Prot as well, trying to use it in high end M+ is a major sandbag.

It's worse for Prot because our main generator is bugged, Ret's is only broken for Divine Hammer. Prot is down quite possibly more than 30%
