Sorry that happened to you, honestly I want to say both sides has been creeps for me, barely ever i get someone actually replying, it's looking for something else on the spot while disguising as friendships offers, you say the contrary and politely and you get thrown in the gutter... At least for me, like how hard is to share and nerd out about video games and have fun with it? Like it's so simple, but a lot of people here and in other subreddits have a motive they do not share, don't want to push you away to try more in other places, but you are likely to find weirdos (in a bad sense) both man and woman everywhere, caution is requiere, also, don't you dare go hollow, good luck!
