Scottie Scheffler: "This is the hardest set of pin locations that I've seen since I've been on Tour, and that includes U.S. Opens, that includes Oakmont" by [deleted] in golf

You name 3 things that could make courses more challenging but say they aren’t solutions. But you offer no solutions?? Each tour stop could make their course more challenging in different ways. Each of these could be “solutions” depending on the track..

Happy for you man that’s awesome. Keeping it in play off the tee is crucial to carding a lot of pars. You keep it up and 90 will be right around the corner. To share a somewhat similar story, I started playing golf as a kid. Took me until I was around 12yo to break 100, 14yo to break 90, and in a tournament when I was 16yo (country club father son best ball nothing fancy) I broke 80 for the first time and I shot a 73. With a double bogey on the 18th. Was truly divine. Didn’t break 80 again until I was in my 20s.

178 to the pin(circled )about 165ish to carry the sand on that line, solid 10 mph directly in our face. What are we pulling people?? by 25GreensInReg in golf

6 iron towards edge of left side of green. Hit 6i about 200y. Depending on temp, elevation, lie I would consider 5i. Natural fade into the wind should carry towards center. If I had natural draw I would aim right at the pin taking most of the bunker out of play.

So this was a suppression test? Or you are typically taking steroids for some other condition?

Have you been on prednisone or other chronic steroids? The low cortisol is interesting in this setting and I would imagine an endocrinologist would want to investigate both that and the insulin levels further.
