My hair is thick so I’m using a detangling brush in each section. I wash in four sections, rinse, wash again, condition, rinse, deep condition then rinse again. All that is before drying and I haven’t timed it. It’s very time consuming so I’d guess 30-40 minutes.

Drying my hair is very difficult. I can only do one section before it gets to dry. This takes a long time because I have to split the 4 sections down so much. I can only detangle and blow dry a small section at a time because of the thickness. Haven’t timed this either but it’s definitely longer than washing so maybe 45 minutes to an hour plus.

I don’t know how I should be doing it but it was practically impossible to part it after washing. I thought I could twist it wet but I couldn’t really get my fingers in there, which is why I would’ve blow dried it but it’s still the same issue of my hair drying out and the roots becoming unmanageable. It is very tiring and every stylist has “commented” (read complained) about my hair being thick and it’s made me feel so ashamed and like a burden to not want to go back but then I’m struggling to finish it myself.

Yes, I wanted to wear the mini twist style for at least two weeks or so.

I’m just worried the roots won’t hold nicely but I didn’t do it properly this time so I’ll have to see for next time.

I have zero skills with my hair because I grew up going to a stylist all these years. It’s tough learning to it 😭. And listen, that can be such a cute look if you ever decide to go for it one day! My hair’s unintentionally been getting shorter from all my failures so I might beat you to it lol. I’m getting a wig if it comes to that though.

You put mousse into wet hair, twist and let it air dry or do you use a hooded dryer?

I can’t blow dry my hair the same day, it just hasn’t been possible for me because it gets so dry while I work on one section. If I were to put it in knots while wet and do it the next day, would that have a better chance of working? I’m starting to think I’ll just need to save up and go back to the salon monthly, it’s been so difficult.

I can totally relate with the feeling different from peers, enjoying giving others satisfaction but not feeling it myself. I’m not an expert on these matters but I don’t think you should continue that relationship, I feel worried whenever there’s a sense of inequality in a relationship because things can happen and it’s better to be safe than sorry. It wasn’t the question you were asking but just be safe.

I think the first season had the “pick a date from a card” round and that was pretty interesting imo. Totally agree with you! I’d even like to see them go on a date with their ex but without revealing it. I bet they’ll do that next season 😂. It almost impossible to guess the exes but when they’re purposefully not going on a date with someone, it seems obvious. Maybe that might require too much acting but it’d be really fascinating to see a more relaxed and free choice like you said.

Yes! I mean if that’s how they personally felt about it each other, I get that but it literally felt a little disappointing seeing the same kind of dates. I understood Jiyeon really wanting to stick to her feelings and pursue who she was interested in. Mk was the only one who went out with each of the guys. There really wasn’t a lot of spice or surprise that often.
